Qualstar TLS-4000 8mm Tape Libraries offer capacities from 50GB to 1.7TB. Eight models support two to six half-high drives, enabling concurrent read/write operations for increased throughput. All feature I/O ports for import and export of tape cartridges under system control. Bar code readers are standard or available on all models for tape inventory control. Brushless motors combined with closed loop servo controls and leadscrew positioners mean years of precise operation. All models are self-aligning and calibrating; all adjustments have been eliminated. Built-in emulation allows TLS-4000 to directly replace older, outmoded designs.
