With the explosive growth of Windows NT into the Unix world, critical challenges and issues arise with the transition and integration of two diverse operating systems in an enterprise environment. This training workshop is designed for anyone involved in the planning and deployment of a mixed UNIX and Windows NT computing environment.

Topics include:

Who Should Attend: Both Unix and Windows NT professionals who are responsible for their enterprise environments. This workshop is of particular value to IS managers, system and network administrators, and software developers. The highly technical nature of this workshop requires that participants should be well ground in at least one of the two operating systems.

About the Instructor: Dr. G. Robert Williams, a noted speaker and author, has extensive experience integrating and managing heterogeneous systems. He is the president of PDS Advanced Technologies, Inc., a national systems integration firm involved in designing, planning, and deploying Windows NT and UNIX enterprises. He is also the co-author of Windows NT and UNIX: Administration, Co-Existence, Integration and Migration (Addison Wesley 1998) and many related magazine articles. He recently keynoted at the Windows NT and UNIX Summit with Microsoft's Bill Gates. He was also the featured speaker in the international road show sponsored by Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and Tech Data on UNIX and Windows NT interoperability entitled Integration97/98 and Compaq/Digital UNIX/NT Interoperability series. Dr. Williams is one of UniForum's key speakers for the Que Learning Program, an innovative training program.
