ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:  Dr. Eugene Schultz is a Trusted Security Advisor for
SAIC.  Prior  to joining SAIC, Dr. Schultz was the Principal Consultant at
SRI Consulting, a subsidiary of SRI International. He also served as the
Program Manager for SRI's International Information Integrity Institute
(I-4) as well as Practice Leader for SRI Consulting Information Security
Consulting Practice. 
 An expert in Unix, LAN and network security, and security administration
and management, Dr. Schultz has co-authored several books: Unix-Its Use,
Control, and Audit (IIA/EDPAA), Internet Security for Business, (John Wiley), and
the soon to be released Practical Windows NT Security (O'Reilly).  A consulting
editor of Network Security and Secretary of IFIP Working Group 11.3,
(network security), he has published over 70 journal articles.
He was the co-recipient of the Best Paper Award at the 1995 National
Information Systems Security Conference.
