ADVANCED WINDOWS NT SECURITY WORKSHOP
Date: August 25, 1998
This two-day workshop is designed for IT professionals who are already familiar with Windows NT security and want to learn more about advanced and sometimes undocumented features of this product that affect security.
This intensive workshop explores details related to the internal functionality of Windows NT itself as well as its networking mechanisms and protocols to determine the security flaws that exist and the trade off in designing and implementing suitable solutions. Attendees will learn specific, advanced techniques such as how to modify the Registry, how to utilize network control measures such as firewalls and host-based wrapper tools, and how to administer Windows NT securely.
